Home Season Opener! Rebel Roses v Stuttgart Valley Rollergirlz & Whip-Its v Hellfire Harlots - 05/05/2012 - Home

Leeds Roller Dolls, hosted their first home bout of the season in Huddersfield Sports Centre (HD1 1TW), and put together a massive double header.

The Whip-Its went up against Nottingham's Hellfire Harlots, and the Rebel Roses took on Stuttgart Valley Rollergirlz A Team.

Stuttgart Valley Rollergirlz is Germany's first Roller Derby league, who were host to Europe's very first roller derby bout in 2007! What a claim to fame!

This was the first time Leeds Roller Dolls met either of these leagues on track, and I'm sure you'll agree this was an exciting start to the home season for both LRD teams!

Skater awards for the Rebel Roses were:
Jammie Dodger Award for Best Jammer went to Cecee
Bobby Dazzler award for MVP went to Feral Fairy
and Best Blocker award went to The Whole Team!

and for the Whip-Its:
Jammie Dodger Award for Best Jammer went to Delirium Dive
Bobby Dazzler award for MVP went to Killaroo
and Best Blocker award went to Bird of Pain
